About

Works of Mateja Bučar, who has been present on the dance scene for more than 20 years, stretch throughout multiple platforms. We can see them on stage and in galleries and we might also spot one on the street or in the parking lot.

In this edition of Metodologije beleženja we will talk about the unconventional relation between the choreoghrapher and the space, whose role this time isn't solely as a place for performance; it is also one of the main sources of inspiration and one of the key points of Bučar's works. We will touch upon the role of visual and scenic aspects as well as the themes that the artist talks about but first and foremost we will try to shine a light on the unique position of her works, which seem to freely move between the traditional definitions of artistic disciplines.
