ABOUT PERFORMANCE
Emerging from the evocative exodus song Rondinella (written by Dario Marušić) spins the tales of love and loss, mystery and mysticism, comedy and commonplace, gently -- and with constrained nostalgia -- triggering memories and offering a glance at the past and the dear spaces and people we feel close to.
Rondinella, a lyrical and eloquent site-specific work, created for five dancers with live musician and video projection, was originally created and performed in the village square of Svetvinčenat / San Vincenti (near Pula) in Istria, Croatia with a 16th century castle and church as its backdrop, revealing the beauty and power of renaissance spaces on everyday imagination and longing.

REVIEWS
(At the) crossroads of Italian troubadour tradition and high-calibre contemporary dance.
Primož Jesenko, Delo, 31.08.2004
Rondinella is a gentle, well-accomplished performance. Although it is short, it does not appear as a collection of ideas, but turns out to be well-conceived, precise, totally complete: bittersweet flash, as it comes up at small thoughts about almost forgotten things.
