Emanat Institute is organizing one-day workshop in the frame of preparations for the new performance by Jan Rozman (janrozman.net)planned in mid-November 2019. To facilitate the production of the piece, we are looking for local performers with substantial performative experience (performers, dancers, actors, vocalists …) with the aim of gathering a creative team of makers.
The rehearsals period is planned from September until mid-November 2019. The première and reruns will happen in Stara mestna elektrarna Elektro Ljubljana.
Workshop/audition will take place in “Sindikalna dvorana” (nearby Old Power Plant hall / Elektrarna, entrance over parking place of Elektro Ljubljana Company on Kotnikova 9, Ljubljana).
- on Sunday, 5th of May between 11 am and 3 pm (4 hours)
- on Monday, 6th of May between 4 pm and 8pm (4 hours).
In the application each applicant should clearly state, if s-he is available both workshop days (Sunday and Monday), or just one day (Sunday or Monday)! You are required to apply with your short biography, your portrait photo and contact information (address, telephone, e-mail). The workshop is free of charge; the number of participants is limited; in case of large interest we reserve the right to make a selection. Applicants will receive the final invitation to the workshop latest by Friday, 26th of April 2019.
To facilitate the production of the piece, we are mainly looking for performers based in Slovenia (or potential performers from abroad with self-arranged accommodation in Ljubljana during the creation process and performance reruns). Ljubljana is the starting point for all potential international touring as well.
