IDOCDE: International platform for documentation of pedagogical processes of contemporary dance

2013

IDOCDE Symposium

Dear,

It's our pleasure to announce that in April 2013 a new website for dance teachers and dance professionals has open its virtual doors http://idocde.net

An international platform IDOCDE is a result of collaboration between 12 internationally renowned contemporary dance organisations and more than 100 contemporary dance teachers from different countries. It is an on-line library, where you could find a wide range of topics, contexts and enquiries, from simple class descriptions to in-depth discourses about specific issues in dance education, free of charge.

We invite you to make use of this free resource; and more than that: to document and share your own teaching practices. Researchers and teachers from other fields are welcome as well to start an interdisciplinary exchange with the dance educators. More information how to sign in you could find at http://idocde.net

IDOCDE also exists beyond the web: teachers meet, teach and reflect togather at meetings and symposia funded through the EU Lifelong Learning Programme. The next symposium will be in Vienna, from 26th to 28th July 2013, hosted by Impulstanz / Vienna International Dance Festival (Wiener Tanzwochen). You could find the programme of symposium at http://idocde.net/idocs/519 For more information about how to sign in please visit http://www.impulstanz.com/idocde/
