Almost every year on Netlabel Day (July 14) Kamizdat is releasing a compilation in the Access Frame series. The main theme of these compilations is a consideration of the accessibility of culture, the creative community, the artistic community and the commodification of music in the digital age. Every year we try to ignite the sparks of inspiration with a specific focus - this year we are looking at the phenomenon of authority in its affirmative or counter-political forms as an inspiration for musical expression.
Unlike last year's episode, this year's episode is set again as a traditional compilation of independent compositions, which are contributed by invited female music creators depending on the theme.
