Statement of support to the Autonomous Factory ROG

We, the artists working under the auspices of the Emanat Institute, express our indignation at the attack on the ROG Autonomous Factory - we are outraged at the ruthless destruction of the dynamic spaces of creation and condemn the aggression, violence and intolerance with which this act took place.

Spaces of difference and spontaneity, spaces where alternative and critical practices are created, spaces that offer shelter to those who need it and to those who are not accepted anywhere else, these spaces must remain part of modern Ljubljana.

We are appalled and disappointed. We feel cheated at what has been happening last year and especially in the last week with Rog. The violence, robbery and destruction shown by security guards and police officers in front of Rog is unacceptable for us, the creators in the city of Ljubljana, because we urgently need a space like Rog.

In Ljubljana and in Ljubljana, we must decide all of us who are part of this city, and not politicians who do not know us and cannot reasonably represent us!
